I walked into Virgin Megastore in
Oxford Street one day and a band called 'Wheat'
was playing live. They were quite good,
so I bought the album and I met the band,
and they signed the album. |

Four Star Mary
(a.k.a. 'Dingoes ate my baby' - the band
who perform at the 'Bronze' in TV's
'Buffy the Vampire Slayer') came to
Loughborough University on November 11th
2001. They played a good set of their own
songs, but even better, they did
'Surrender' by 'Cheap Trick', which makes
them cool! I met the band and got the CD
and a poster signed. |

My little brother (Phil) somehow
managed to get a ticket to an 'Ash'
- 'Free All Angels' promo gig in Croydon
for about 150 people. The band did a 45
minute set then did a question and answer
session. I had given my brother my copy
of the album so that they could sign it,
so when he met them he got it signed for
me. Phil also phoned me from his mobile
and I got to talk to Tim Wheeler and
Charlotte Hatherley! |

I bumped into Ravi, the drummer from My
Vitriol (my favourite band) at
the Ash gig at the Astoria. I bumped into him again at the Reading
Festival on the day they were on the
Evening Session stage. For more photos
look at my Reading
2001 gallery. That was a superb gig
they did at Reading, but not as good
as...
The next time I met Ravi was in the
street outside the Camedon Dingwalls.
Even better, the rest of the band was
there! They were doing a free gig with
Seafood. I stood right on the barrier for
the whole set and saw an amazing gig, and then met the
band after the gig as well!!! Here are their autographs.
