We started our ascent of Snowdon (1085m) at around 6am. The walk up was more interesting than the previous mountains, as we crossed slippery rock faces, and further up the mountain we were actually climbing up rocks - not a walk in the park...!
This was the morning England lost to Brazil in the World Cup, so we had a portable TV, radio, and the walkie talkies to keep us updated! We lost... But we got to the top and back down safely, despite the rain and poor visibility.
The top half of the mountain was covered by cloud, so we did not get the amazing views seen on the previous day... But this is Wales we're talking about!
