MC Tiernan Douieb MC Tiernan Douieb

Regular MC for various promoters and clubs all over the country including Off The Kerb, Amused Moose, Comedy Café, Agraman, Downstairs at the Kings Head and Brett Vincent for Underbelly Productions.

Tiernan is a favourite of Chuckles’ comedy goers and has recently had excellent reviews at the Edinburgh Festival.

Paul Foot Headline Act Paul Foot

We are excited to present the unique talent of Paul Foot to Chuckles at The Playhouse. His unusual and often surreal style makes him a hit with audiences across the country.

"He can find laughs in pretty much anything. He has a Midas touch with the mundane. In his own bizarre mix of the effortless and the manic, he is unique and delightful."  - The Stage

Support Acts:
  • Jim Smallman, Joe K, Rob Alderson

Thursday 1st November

Juliet Meyers MC Juliet Meyers

Another favourite of Chuckles audiences, Juliet has a warm, chatty and hilarious style and she can find humour in every situation.

"Her on-stage likeability and clever puns are a joy"  - Time Out

Stephen Grant Headline Act Stephen Grant

Back by popular demand! Stephen is one of the funniest and well respected comedians on the circuit. A master of his craft, he had the Chuckles crowd roaring with laughter and we’re delighted to have him back.

Thursday 6th December

MC Rich Wilson

A regular at Jongleurs and The Comedy Store, Rich is a popular MC who is bound to have the audiences in stitches (not like a doctor would you understand). Don’t expect him to be saying ‘I don’t believe it’ as that is the wrong Richard Wilson!

Simon Brodkin AKA Lee Nelson Headline Act Simon Brodkin
(AKA Lee Nelson)

Simon’s character act, Lee Nelson, is a hilarious portrayal of Britain’s 'chav' culture.

Recently his Lee Nelson character, a loveable teenage yob, has been taking the stand-up scene by storm, earning Simon billings alongside such established comics as Harry Hill who described him as "The Funniest New Act I've Seen In Years"  - Paramount Comedy

Support Acts:
  • Michael Fabbri, Paul F Taylor, Dan Hoy
