About Us
Chuckles Comedy Nights is run by Heather Brown and Daniel Smith. We aim to
bring you a variety of top live comics and are delighted to be hosting Chuckles
at The Playhouse.
Daniel Smith (Dan Hoy) is a budding stand up comic himself and has been
described as having great potential. He was a finalist at The Hackney Empire New
Act Competition 2007 and also got to the final of The Amused Moose Laugh Off
2007 and was the winner of Havent Comedy Club Rib Tickler 2007.
Eventually, we’d like to start more comedy clubs at similarly warm and
comfortable venues. We book acts that we find funny so we hope we don’t
disappoint you with our choices!
